Webinar Reviews

If you have the opportunity to take one of Tricia Reichert’s webinar classes, seize it! She is the perfect balance of an artist and a teacher - not an artist trying to be a teacher. Her lessons are organized and easy to follow. She is passionate about her craft and about making sure her students understand the why’s and how’s of a painting and provides helpful hints and answers to questions posed during the actual webinars. I highly recommend spending some time painting with her - you’ll be amazed at the paintings you’ll create!

Thank you so much, Tricia, for teaching so many concepts in each lesson in the webinars. I particularly enjoyed the pen line and wash painting the red barn.  (I love barns.) The ink line gives the picture a completely distinctive look. It was very relaxing, educational, and satisfying and I can’t wait to do more ink line and wash paintings. I notice that you have several included in the video section. I’ll be renting those right away.

Thanks for switching over to online classes, webinars and videos during this difficult time. You are making a big difference in the quality of life for many.

I thoroughly enjoy Tricia's upbeat watercolor webinars, each one focused on completing a painting or developing a particular skill. She is a good teacher, clearly explaining and demonstrating each step, attentive to both technique and the artist's "free spirit". Often she adds a dash of fun or humor to spice up her class. She offers such a variety of subjects and times that it has been easy to keep painting through the quarantine, and even produce a few small jewels! The more I study with her, the more I appreciate the possibilities for beauty all around me, right at my front door.

VIDEOS

These are Paint Along with me step-by-step classes, in video form. I teach you 'how to paint' (not my personal style) and your natural, personal and original style will develop as you paint. I give you a really good head start by supplying the drawings with the videos (unless they are included in the video) for each of the subjects, so that you can focus entirely on developing your watercolor painting skills. Beginning painters will benefit from taking Watercolor Painting I and II Courses first (see Courses section below)

Video Reviews

Thank you Tricia for making these fun but challenging videos available to keep us motivated to keep on painting. You offer such a wide range of videos - something for everyone. They give us the benefit of feeling like we're in your studio, while being in the comfort of our own homes. That we can rent the videos for 3 days is also a plus because it gives me the opportunity to really focus on the details of each session at my own pace. I learn something new with every video and really appreciate your input.

I truly enjoy the videos and webinar classes offered. The webinar gives a sense of "you're still painting with your group" which continues to inspire me as I see my fellow painters commenting or asking questions..

I especially love the videos, (3 day rental), as it gives me extra time to complete my project, going back to rewind as needed. My daughter, a True beginner rented some of the videos and produced amazing results on her own. Tricia is just as amazing on the videos as she is in person and it is super easy to follow along in both webinars and videos. Lynn Frady

INTERACTIVE LIVE CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

In a variety of subjects and available for small groups, up to 10 people. (Look for these classes under 'Live Sessions')

Small Group Live Class Review

It was so much fun to paint together, in spite of the program glitches at times. We hadn’t been together for months! The lessons were great, and even though it was hard to keep up the pace at times, the push was good for us. I really appreciated having your sketches. Aside from making the prep easier, it was helpful in following what you were doing with value and color changes in specific areas. Most of all, I loved your running dialogue telling what you were doing and why, in a calm encouraging way. Betty Johnson

LIVE 1-1 - INDIVIDUAL, PERSONAL INSTRUCTION

These sessions are scheduled by appointment and feature 3 options, 30 min Fix-It Session, (for help with painting/drawing problems), I hour session, 2 hour session. These 1-1 sessions can be recorded and you would then have this recording to review whenever you wish.

Live1-1 Review

The Fix-It Sessions are so helpful! I've used them for watercolor and pastel paintings. I thought there was no hope for a couple of my pictures but using the suggestions in the private Fix-It sessions online with Tricia, my paintings turned out quite well. Tricia helped me with composition, color selection and shadows in one session and in another she gave me ideas and instructions to make the subjects appear more realistic. When I am stuck or dissatisfied with my work it is a great opportunity to have a professional artist and teacher take a look at my problem and help me Fix IT!

COURSES

These are linked, skill-building video classes, in a variety of subjects and levels that are available to rent for longer periods of time. Beginning painters should start with the Watercolor Painting I and II Courses.

Courses Review

Last month I took Tricia Reichert’s “Drawing Portraits in Pencil” Course. It was very helpful and interesting! Tricia Reichert is an excellent instructor who patiently guides her students, step by step. She adeptly adjusts her camera work and pace to suit the subject matter of the course. Her portrait demonstration made the process easy to follow at my own pace and to create a wonderful portrait of my husband. Being able to rent the course for a month allowed me to complete it at my own pace. I highly recommend her courses! Chris Dempsey
